Jonathan Faneytt, who goes by the stage name of BigBop, has always felt called towards music. Growing up in Queens, NY, BigBop was exposed to many genres of music. Ultimately, BigBop gravitated towards rap & hip hop. Drawing inspiration from other artists from the likes of Lil Wayne to Justin Bieber, has helped BigBop create his own unique style of music. He credits his talents as an artist to his undeniable work ethic, life experiences, and his mother. BigBop describes his music as fire, hits, and BAAHHPP.
BigBop has had to overcome many trials and tribulations in his life, including 5 years behind bars. Although he has had to battle through many challenges, he believes it has made him the man he is today. BigBop delivers a beautiful message through his music hoping to inspire all that listen to keep pushing and go after their dreams. BigBop knows that everyone’s biggest competition is themselves and hopes to be a spark of light for those going through challenging times.
BigBop has been featured on Power 105.1 and worked with world-renowned artist Soulja Boy. He is signed under his own record label “WavyWorld” and is hands on with all his music. He has major plans for the future as he gears up to drop multiple singles, including “Only Know” featuring Slick Pusha, “Lies”, “Alone”, and “Crash Course”. In addition, he has a music video to his hit single “Like My Bop” which is set to release in the coming weeks. This is an exciting time for BigBop fans as his trajectory is set to explode after his new work is released.
