Independent artist Ricardo P has put the music industry on notice of his talents since the release of his latest single “Clean”. Growing up in a military family Ricardo P bounced back and forth between Houston, Texas and Sacramento, California. In the midst of all the chaos, music served as Ricardo P’s safe haven. He was always intrigued by how many different ways you could express yourself with a pen and paper, through a dope beat. At the age of 12 he began to write his own music and started to visualise himself as a world-renowned artist. Since he was a young man, he could always vividly envision himself on a big stage with thousands of fans singing along to his music. This vision turned into a burning desire which he has been striving for ever since.
Ricardo P has turned his dream into a reality and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He has created songs with rap icons Scarface, Pimp C, Slim Thug, and E-40. In addition, Ricardo P has also opened up shows for the likes of Trey Songs, E-40, Nas, and Juvenile. Ricardo P draws inspiration for his music from a lot of rappers he listened to in his youth such as LL Cool J, Jay Z, Master P, Eric Bellinger, and Nelly. Ricardo P intends on creating music that not only tells his life story, but also to inspire his fans to reach their highest potential. He is no stranger to trials and tribulations, and he insists on putting out music that will help his fans get through their own struggles.
Ricardo P is the owner of his own label “I Believe in Me” which he plans to take to the next level in 2022. His new highly anticipated EP will be released in the coming months and his fans should expect him to drop multiple singles prior to the release. This is an exciting time for Ricardo P as he plans to take over in 2022.
