Ilya Matyushin is a 20-year-old videographer and editor who works with Four Shadow Collective. Ilya got his start in the creative space when he started creating his own YouTube videos. Ilya swiftly developed a passion for the actual process of making videos, specifically the cinematography and editing aspect of it. With his desire to be the best he could be, Ilya started to learn night and day. He went from making cinematic style vlogs and travel videos to shooting music videos and concert recaps for artists, to now shooting projects all across the board for all sorts of clients in multiple industries.
Since joining Four Shadow Collective Ilya has been able to expand his skills immensely. Four Shadow is made up of four other creators who have a genuine passion for what they do. Each person specializes in a slightly different area which makes the collective even more powerful when servicing clients in different industries and spaces. It’s constantly expanding with new ideas and endeavours but at its core it’s driven by the same passion that made all of us pick up a camera in the first place.
The most satisfying part of Ilya’s job to him is seeing his viewers enjoying his content. It brings him great joy when others like his work and it is the driving force behind his work ethic. Ilya has big aspirations for the future and his dream would be to be able to work with Pete Davidson. With Ilya skillset and Pete’s humour, Ilya would love to shoot a lifestyle content series which would make for countless hilarious videos.
